Songwriter Spotlight shines once again at Harmony! Featuring such homegrown talent as Sam Sturdevant and Candace Griffin, along with Milwaukee friends Mike Bucholtz, Ricky Orta Jr., and Ben & Jenn! Come on down for an excellent evening of local, ALL-ORIGINAL music! 4pm-7pm.


Sam Sturdevant
Sam plays acoustic-rock and has influences from rock stemming mostly out of 90s rock and 2000s pop punk. His guitar playing compliments his rock voice as he plays energetically and powerfully!


Candace Griffin
Alternative and folky, Candace Griffin's music comes straight from the heart. As a songwriter, she takes inspiration from the life around her, and with honest words and acoustic-driven emotions, she puts her listeners right in the moment. You'll think the songs were written just for you.


Ricky Orta Jr.
Still in a state of euphoria after the Cubs’ 2016 World Series Championship, Ricky Orta Jr. has been playing music since the late 90’s and writing songs that sound like they were written decades beforehand. Gritty. Soulful. Music. #ComeToMyShows


Ben & Jenn feat. Mike Bucholtz
Ben Schmidt and Jenn Leo are excited to make their second appearance at Harmony Bar & Grill, showing off their punk and folk influences. Joining them is Milwaukee area singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Mike Bucholtz. Inspired by musical acts ranging from Elton John to classic country, Mike composes songs that are soulful yet honest.
