Celebrate Carnival Season with Clear Creek Creations
We invite participants to learn how to make traditional gumbo and king cake while enjoying a little Mardi Gras culture. Participants will shape pre-made king cake dough, then bake and decorate their king cakes. While the king cakes are baking, Theresa will demonstrate how to make New Orleans style gumbo, including how to make a roux. Participants will be able to sample the gumbo.
Each workstation will include an apron, equipment, king cake dough, ingredients, and recipe.
Each participant will take home their own individual king cake, a bowl of gumbo and a gift bag filled with a Mardi Gras themed treat, recipes, and Clear Creek Creations coupons.
This is an adult only workshop. There will be snacks and drinks to enjoy during the workshop.
