Johannes is playing with us this month and will premier his new chart “The Builder”. Also we celebrate Lalo Schifrin who passed away last week, Doc Severinson’s 98th birthday, along birthday anniversary’s of Lee Morgan, Johnny Hartman, Johnny Hodges, and others.

The Madison Jazz Orchestra performs at Cafe Coda every third Thursday of the month.

The hottest, swingin’est jazz orchestra in southern Wisconsin, the nineteen-piece MJO performs charts from the golden era of big bands: Fletch Henderson, Count Basie, Thad Jones, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Duke Ellington and more.
