🚦Traffic Alert for The Independence Day Parade! 🚦
Hey Madison friends! As we gear up for an exciting Independence Day Parade, please be mindful of the traffic updates:
⏰When: July 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM
📍Where: The parade starts at Samson Rock Dr. and Route 1, heads west past the green, and south on West Wharf Rd, ending in the Surf Club parking lot.
Road Closures: 🚧The Boston Post Road will be closed to all traffic from East Wharf Rd to Jannas Ln starting at 9:30 AM. 🚧
🚨Detours:
🚗Eastbound traffic approaching the parade area on Route 1 will be detoured onto Jannas Lane, traveling north to Fort Path Road, to Copse Road, to Bradley Road. Motorists needing access to I-95 will then travel north on Route 79 (Durham Road). Motorists needing to continue to Route 1 will cross Route 79 on Bradley Road, to Wall St to Railroad Avenue to Scotland Ave continuing east on Route 1.
🚙Westbound traffic on Route 1 entering the parade area will be detoured north on Scotland Ave, to Wall St. to Bradley Road. Motorists needing access to I-95 will then travel north on Route 79 (Durham Road). Motorists needing to continue to Route 1 will cross Route 79 on Bradley Road, to Copse Road, to Fort Path Road, to Jannas Lane to Route 1 to continue west on Route 1.
🛵Motorists/Residents needing access to Madison's beaches will be detoured to East Wharf Road to Middle Beach Road to access the shoreline, the Madison Beach Hotel, the Madison Country Club or Cristy's restaurant.

Parking will be available at the Madison Train Station and the Stop and Shop
