Equip + Ascend

Calling all high school seniors! Equip + Ascend, a four-part workshop series designed to help high school students thrive in the years following high school and beyond, will kick off Oct. 2. The four workshops, centered around laying a foundation, will be lead by CHH Life Coach Brent Johnston and Counseling Intern Mary Frances Brace. Both have a passion for giving teenagers the tools they need now to start preparing for their next chapter. Students will explore practical skills like time and money management and strategies for building and maintaining health friendships, finding community and avoiding common pitfalls. Most importantly the group will discuss what it means to live out our faith authentically in college, technical school or the workplace. Workshops will be 4 to 6 pm in The Key Room at the Center for Hope and Healing, 212 Key Drive, Madison. The fee is $100.
