Doggieland Play Park's Dock Diving Competition
Saturday November 1st from 1-3 pm.
Registration fee $35 per dog is required to participate.
Open for all breed of dogs!
Divisions and Classes:
Open to Novice, Junior, and Senior divisions.
Novice Division (DN)- 0"1" to 9" 11"
Junior Division (DJ)- 10'0" to 14'11"
Senior Division (DS)- 15'0"-19'11"
Distance Jumping, dogs compete for the farthest jump.
All dogs 6 months and older, including All-American Dogs are eligible to compete in Diving Dogs, except for females in season.
In distance jumping, a dog is simply scored on how far they jump into the water. The distance is measured from the end of the dock to the base of the dog’s tail when it breaks water.
A "Splash" consists of two jumps: once the handler and dog enter the dock, they will have two opportunities to jump in that splash.
The greater of the two scores becomes the dog's qualifying score for that splash.
The dog with the highest qualifying score places first.
First, Second, and Third place winner Ribbons awarded.
Please note this is a for fun event. No titles will be earned.
This event is planned based on participation, due to demand and limited availability, no-shows and cancelations will not be refunded.
