AUDITIONS! - CapQ Theatre Fest

Madison's favorite CapitalQ Theater Festival is back for the 4th time! Join us for our annual Pride Month celebration when StageQ takes over the Drury stage for TWO weekends this year to present brand new play readings, 10-minute shorts, and one-act plays by up-and-coming queer playwrights from around the country. ​

​Performances will be at The Bartell Theatre from June 13 - June 21, 2025

Auditions will be held May 5 & 6 at 7 pm at the Bartell Theatre on 113 E Mifflin, Madison, WI 53703.

Be prepared to provide schedule conflicts for the month of May and June, as well as cold read sides with your fellow auditionees.

Rehearsal Dates and Location
Rehearsals will be at First Congregational Church (1609 University Ave). The specifics of the rehearsal schedule will be determined by each production’s director. However, in general, rehearsals will be held between the hours of 7 PM and 10 PM during weeknights. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in theater with a less intense schedule, as each script is shorter than your average play.
