Wheel Throwing Taster Class

his 90-minute pottery session is perfect for those who want to try the pottery wheel and see if it’s right for them before committing to our 3-week Intro to Wheel Throwing Class.
In this class, you'll learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel, including centering the clay, forming the bottom, pulling the walls, and shaping your piece. You’ll have hands-on time with
two balls of clay.
$70/per person


Our instructor will glaze your pieces for you to give it a colorful and glossy surface. You can choose one color for each of your pieces from our studio glazes.

Please Note: Pottery is a messy process! Trim long nails to help with the process.

For groups of more than two, register for two consecutive time slots (starting at 3 PM) and join the first class as a group.

Age Requirements: Open to 11+. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.

What to Wear: Wear flat, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
