Macon Pride’s Pioneers & Trailblazers Photo History Exhibit

Macon Pride is proud to present its annual Pioneers & Trailblazers Photo History Exhibit, honoring the contributions of 22 Middle Georgia’s LGBTQ+ pioneers, activists, and leaders at the Tubman Museum. This tribute highlights their impact across the arts, community development, social justice, and historic preservation.

Each year, we expand the exhibit to recognize new individuals and groups who have played a vital role in advancing equality. In collaboration with Storytellers Macon, this year’s exhibit will feature oral histories, providing personal narratives that deepen the understanding of our region’s LGBTQ+ culture and experiences.
