WPAS Potluck Picnic

After the Spring Bird Count we will have a potluck picnic/cookout at Everly Park in Macomb. The event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13th. Look for us at the picnic shelter by the pond, but if it is already reserved, we will move to another shelter. We hope this event will give everyone a chance to turn in their count information and chat with other participants about what exciting birds were seen. Bring a dish to share and your own table service. Meat and drinks will be provided by the Western Prairie Audubon Society. If you are unable to attend the picnic, then please mail or e-mail in your count forms or drop them off at Dave Benson's house as soon as possible after the count day.
I look forward to seeing you at the field trips and on the count. Please remember that your help is appreciated whether you count birds just in your own yard or neighborhood or over a large area of the county. Please RSVP with your intentions to participate in any of these activities and especially if you will help count.
