Join Trash Free Trails for the Machynlleth Pump Track Power Hour 6pm on the 25th July 2025!
To kick-off Red Bull Hardline in true TFT Style we can't wait to be back at the local Pump Track for the 5th year running.
What's a 'Power Hour'?
This is one of our favourite ways to make a difference. Quite simply, we aim to trail clean for no more than an hour! This keeps us warm, on our toes and our eyes peeled for the whole time as we have prizes for the most amount of items found as well as the weirdest things collected! Dividing into groups allows us to cover the riding area of the pump track as well as scattering off into the surroundings for more treasurers!
Why here?
The area of Powys, Wales, is somewhere we have paid the closest attention to over the years, both out of love for caring for our wild places, as well as the pure joy we get from being immersed within a blossoming community. As a result of this, it's an area where we have collected the most amount of data year on year, and the best part, it's starting to create real change!
Check out the total amount of single-use pollution items we've removed, getting lower and lower each year:
2021: 1400 items
2022: 876 items
2023: 604 items
2024: 579 items
And so for 2025, do you think we can beat last years number? Come down and join in to find out!
What do I need?
You'll be surprised how quick an hour can go by, please come prepared with suitable outdoor clothing, your bike and helmet. We'll provide all the vibes, bin bags and cleaning equipment.
After the clean, we'll be shredding round the pump track together, celebrating all the hard efforts donated to this cause. Simply sign up to let us know you'll be there!
