IMMERSIVE BODY
Butoh Movement Meditation with Live Soundscape
~ Step into a meditative journey where movement meets mystery, and sound guides transformation ~
IMMERSIVE BODY is a movement meditation experience inspired by Butoh and enriched by a live ambient soundscape.
This session is designed for anyone interested in exploring their inner world through slow, mindful movement. This is more than a workshop—it's a space for experimentation, deep listening, and connection to the world within and around you.
We begin with gentle warm-ups drawn from nature—wind, water, trees—to help you ground into your body and breath. From this rooted place, we venture into the unknown, exploring the space between the familiar and the unfamiliar through meditative movement.
The session becomes a ritual of self-discovery—an invitation to feel deeply, move honestly, and transform from within.
We’re honored to welcome guest artist Lindsay Crawford, who will create a live soundscape to support and inspire your journey. His immersive sonic environment will help you sink deeper into presence, opening space for imagination, intuition, and creative flow.

About BUTOH:
Butoh is dance theatre art and way of life, originated in Japan after WWII and is now practiced worldwide. It is also called Dance of Darkness by its distinguishing attempts to explore the dark, unconscious, and hidden aspects of existence. Yet Butoh is not only dark, it embraces light and darkness of existence, the full spectrum of life. Emptying body and mind, let's become everything and nothing to remember the essence of who we are.
