Round 1 of the XCR '25 series is the 'Hanging Rock 8km' which will be held on Saturday 10th May 2025 at Hanging Rock, Woodend.
The 2025 Heritage Round sees the return to the awe-inspiring Hanging Rock. Hanging Rock recreation reserve offers athletes a challenging course in a ruggedly beautiful setting. Athletes will race over distances of 5km and 8km.

**REMINDER: That all XCR package holders are not automatically entered into XCR events. Each member will need to sign up for each round they wish to participate via the above AV Entry Portal.
If you are having trouble entering, please contact AV on 8646 4500 or via email before the closing deadline.
We will be carpooling to this event, so if anyone needs a lift please let us know asap.
Draft Timetable:
12:30pm- F U20, F Open SC, F 40+SC, F 50+ SC, F 60+SC, M U20, M U18, M Open SC, M 40+ SC, M 50+ SC, M 60+ SC - 5km – Race 1
1:00pm- FU18, FU16, F U14, M U16, M U14 - 5km – Race 2
1:40pm- M Open, M 40+, M 50+, M 60+ - 8km – Race 3
2:40pm- F Open, F 40+, F 50+, F 60+ - 8km – Race 4
**Please be aware that following the closure of entries, AV will publish a provisional timetable which will take the place of the Draft Timetable.
*Presentations will be carried out following the verification of results for each event.
*If you have finished in the top three in your respective event, please ensure that you make yourself available for presentation.
**Remember to bring your Ballarat competition uniform and your AV bib numbers. ( Collection will be at the event for most athletes)
***Can everyone who is running in this event please let us know asap that you are competing, so we can make sure we have enough runners to fill teams***
