MONSTER COMICS! With Tom Scioli
(Part of MACC-POW! Comic art festival 2025!)
For our final workshop of the day, join our esteemed international guest from the USA, Cartoonist Tom Scioli!
This is Tom’s first appearance in the UK, and so the first time he’s brought his brand of comics storytelling to a workshop setting, so we’re all very excited to see what he brings to our studio!
Tom has notably drawn the Fantastic Four for Marvel, along with comics featuring Transformers vs. GI JOE, GOBOTS, autobiographies on both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and most recently GODZILLA!
In the last workshop of the day, Tom will show you how to embrace your inner monster, and create a beast worthy of a battle with the king of monsters himself! This workshop promises to be lots of fun, and a great insight into how Tom creates both his characters, and comics!
Parents/Adults: Feel free to stay and watch the workshop, or drop off and grab that coffee from the bakery just down the stairs.
Suitable for ages 8 and above.
All abilities welcome.
