Cheshire 3 Peaks Challenge

The Cheshire 3 Peaks Challenge may not be as well known as its bigger siblings in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, or indeed the ever popular national version, but it forms a fantastic testing route on the Western edge of the Peak District and walkers underestimate it at their peril! Taking in the three highest peaks in the county, the route involves over 800m of ascent over its 22km distance, passing through a variety of landscapes including remote high moorland, heathland, farmland, meadows and tranquil broadleaf woodland.
