Accidental Death of an Anarchist Auditions

The auditions for the second play of our 2025 - 26 season take place on Tuesday 16 September 2025 in the Hedley Palin Studio from 19:45.

All are welcome, whether auditioning or just observing. Membership is not required to attend the auditions but you will be required to join if cast.

An anarchist has fallen to his death from a window whilst in police custody. But did he fall or was he pushed? As the police attempt to avoid a scandal, an irrepressible fraudster known only as the Maniac is arrested and brought in for questioning. There he dupes the officers into re-enacting the incident, exposing the corruption and idiocy at the heart of the system.

Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a new adaptation of Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s riotous satire.
