The Victoria String Quartet, hailed as “brim full with pedigree and wide experience” (Buxton Festival), have performed across the UK’s leading venues and festivals. Since their first concert in a swimming pool at Manchester’s Victoria Baths, they’ve gone from strength to strength, championing both beloved repertoire and lesser-known gems.
Leo Popplewell joins them for this concert - an award-winning chamber musician, BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, and founding cellist of the Mithras Trio, whose debut album ‘EROS’ has won wide critical acclaim.
This is chamber music at its finest; up close, expressive and full of energy. Whether you're a seasoned listener or new to this music, all are welcome!
