Loofah Workshop

Learn how to make your own loofah scrubber and soap in this workshop featuring loofah gournds grown at Our Giving Garden! Loofah gourds have been used as sponges and scrubbers for hundreds of years, and is the predecessor to the plastic loofahs that most people use. In this workshop you will:
-learn to process, save seeds adn make your own products from loofah gourds grown at Our Giving Garden
-learn how to process a loofah gourd from start to finish
-learn how to save seeds from loofah grouds to grow your own
-learn how to make your own "scrubber soap" with loofah
-take home loofah sopa with them at the end of the workshop

This class will be taught by Hillary Jensen, owner of Sugarpie Flower Farmstead. Sugarpie is a regenerative flower farm and homestead, featuring local flowers, eggs and medicinal herbs. Find out more about the farm and upcoming events at @sugarpieflowerfarmstead on Instagram and Facebook.
