Slow and Steady DG Presents: The Gun Barrel City Open
Mark your calendars! Slow and Steady DG is proud to host the Gun Barrel City Open, a PDGA C-Tier disc golf tournament on November 1, 2025.
This is not your average tournament; it's a test of precision and strategy on a challenging course that rewards smart play over raw power. The two-round, shotgun start format will keep you on your toes:
Round 1: You'll navigate the course from the long tee pads, requiring you to shape your shots and find the perfect line.
Round 2: We'll switch things up to the short tee pads, where finesse and accuracy will be key to posting a low score.
Event Schedule
7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Player Check-in
8:35 AM: Players Meeting
9:00 AM: First Round Shotgun Start
A one-hour lunch break will begin after the final scorecard is submitted.
Prizes and Fun
We've got some great prizes lined up, including 2-4 CTPs (closest to the pin) in each round. After the awards ceremony, we'll finish the day with a Ring of Fire where one lucky player will win a free entry to a future tournament!
