Alessandro Cugola presents research that hijacks architectural norms and protocols of functionality and control—shaped by the metaphor of skin as separation—and proposes instead a parasitic design approach grounded in flesh: porous, unstable, contaminated, stretched, and co-constituted.

For years, Youngjoo Cho's work has examined representations of women’s bodies and lives, focusing on the physical and cultural dimensions of female experience—particularly within domestic spaces. Engaging with themes often treated as taboo, her practice brings visibility to embodied realities that are frequently overlooked. Since 2020, her focus has expanded to the politics of care, addressing social vulnerability and the subtle, irrational dynamics that persist in the everyday lives of those navigating post-patriarchal societies.
