GODDESS CERRIDWEN
I believe Cerridwen's Cauldron has come of age, a wonderful metaphor for the transformation and rebirth humanity is going through right now. In the past Cerridwen has often been labelled a dark goddess and witch, but I feel this stems from suppression of the Divine Feminine, along with misunderstood teachings that have perhaps been taken too literally. Metaphors such as Cerridwen's Cauldron hold sacred truths for us to discover - just like temples and stone circles they hold important messages from those who went before.
THE MEANING OF ANNWFYN
In Welsh mythology, ‘Annwfyn’ (also Annwfn/Annwn) is the name of the Otherworld, often described as a place of fairy-like enchantment. Many beliefs surround this mysterious, magical realm where it is said beautiful people live in joyful abundance without aging or unwellness. Annwfyn translates as 'The Very Deep World.'
ANNWYN has gone deep into the world in both past and present lifetimes. In this lifetime, grief forced her to delve deep below the surface of everyday life, something she is eternally grateful for.
She is a Keeper of Annwfyn, meaning she holds the vibrational frequencies of that state of consciousness and, can activate this in others. Having held this role and name in previous incarnations, it was not surprising that two years ago during her fourth pilgrimage to Avalon/Glastonbury, she made an oath to Goddess Cerridwen to be her voice when the time was right. It is not by chance that she now returns to Christchurch, a core place of her journey and destined to be the world’s ‘First City of Light’ to birth this new body of work. As a group, we will create an energy pathway for this deeper way of Being in our world.
