AGM & June Business Lunch

Commandant Bruno Perrier, professional fire fighter began his professional firefighter career in Paris. He then completed his masters in risk management in Lyon and has since held a number of interesting and diverse positions from Industrial, Natural & Societal Risk Manager to Head of the Firefighter Counter-Terrorism Unit at the Fire Department of Lyon.
His career path has given him the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment and quite often under extreme pressure.
After our AGM at midday, and during the 2 course lunch including wine and coffee, he will give a presentation on his extreme 14 month mission to the Sub Antarctic.
He will talk about life on the base, the mission’s purpose, and what it means to lead a highly diverse group in a remote place where only four supply ships a year bring food, equipment, and rotating team members. It was a unique experience that offered many insights into social behaviour, group dynamics, leadership, and self-awareness.
