Healthy Back Clinic with Gary - Fall Session

Healthy Back Clinic – to restore spinal health, release tension, and address sciatic pain.

Come join us for the weekly “healthy back clinic” available for 5 weeks to learn principles to help restore spinal health and prevent lower back pain. Methods including healing breathwork, alignment, and movement. Positions for sitting, standing, walking, reclining, and sleeping. We will learn exercises and movement to restore range of motion, increase core strength and enhance the healing process. All exercises are to be performed without pain and with full awareness of the body/mind connection. Seven principles of alignment will be discussed, and movement principles will be employed to build muscle memory and kinesthetic awareness. The connection between back health and nerve pain will be discussed and methods for resolving chronic pain will be reviewed.
Exercises presented will be repeated each week using straight back chair, wall and seated positions.
The package of 5 sessions is $50 advance payment discount for members. Nonmembers $100. With fully payment a private, one hour assessment is provided to discuss chronic issues and health history. If participant is under care of a physician, advance approval prior to participation may be requested.
