Out on the Lim

Out on the Lim is a morning stroll along the river to learn more about the issues it faces and to meet the monitors and the creatures who live in it. Find out about what the River Lim Action group is doing to try to improve the ecological health of the river. Meet at Goslings Bridge at the bottom of Hill Road/Mill Green junction for an introduction. We will stroll up the river, looking at pollution hotspots and monitoring locations ending at Horn Bridge pumping station. Make your own way back. Hopefully we'll spot some wildlife along the way.

Walk is mostly flat and easily accessible. Paid parking in Woodmead Halls car park, Hill Road. Refreshments in the town or up the hill at the end to the Black Dog tearoom. Suitable for all ages. Well behaved dogs welcome
