Dig Deep Improv is proud to present 'You are always on' workshop with international guest teacher Kelly Agathos!
When a scene we are not ‘part of’ starts unfolding on stage, we often tend to lower our guard. Our body goes from alert to relaxed, often sitting or leaning against the wall. And before we know it, we’ve gone into ‘spectator’ mode, no longer as quick to pick up on vital cues or ready to pitch in at a second’s notice. If this pattern sounds familiar, then this workshop is for you! Through a series of exercises followed by scenework, we will practice being always ‘on’. We will explore the multiple ways we can contribute, either from the sidelines or by entering the scene. We will also see when it’s worth staying out, and what a difference it makes when it’s an active, rather than passive choice.

About Kelly: Kelly discovered improvisational theatre in 2010 and instantly fell in love with it. In 2017, after spending several years traveling the globe to work and perform with world-renowned improvisers, Kelly created ImproBubble in Brussels, a school through which talented teachers and performers share their vision of improv with the city's large international community. From 2020 to 2024, Kelly was the curator and producer of all anglophone shows at the Improviste theatre. She is also the co-founder and host of The Schuman Show, a comedy show mixing improv, stand up and sketch focused on EU politics. She is very much a cat person and will start raving about her adorable tuxedo cat Marcello if prompted, so you have been duly warned!
Dig Deep is an events company and learning facility in Luxembourg run by Melissa Dalton. Dig Deep Improv involves one-off workshops, courses, 1-1 training and Improv shows where anyone can get up on stage to perform! Dig Deep also works with corporate teams, bringing Improv, Storytelling and Public Speaking workshops, Forum Theatre and bespoke teambuilding sessions to companies that are looking to bring more creativity into the work place, to improve soft skills or to bond a team together.
