Riga Disco Blitz proudly presents a solo concert/performance of ELIZABETE BALČUS on Wednesday, 21 May at Mirador, Luxembourg City.

Elizabete Balčus is boundary-defying musician and performance artist from Latvia, celebrated for her evocative blend of art pop, surrealism and avant-garde sounds. As a classically trained flute player, in her music and performances she skillfully merges this wind instrument and her voice with more abstract elements of dream pop and electronica. Live performances engage the audience with a psychedelic and theatrical situation that is as befuddling as it is mesmerising.

After releasing two critically acclaimed albums – Conarium and Hotel Universe – Balčus has been touring extensively, performing in numerous venues, music showcases and festivals around Europe, the North America and Asia.
