Kabeaushé once described their music as “the complete opposite” of their then-label (Nyege Nyege Tapes) mates’ hardcore electronic sounds on. At the time, this was true: their debut album, The Coming of Gaze, was fiercely focused on giddy pop rush, positivity, and joy. Now, however, that stark contrast has softened. While none of the pop brightness has been lost, a new rawness, weirdness, and rave energy have begun to infuse their sound.
This evolution is a direct expression of Kabeaushé’s wild performance energy, channeled through their alter ego, “the Shé.” Anyone who has witnessed a Kabeaushé show understands instantly. Their sets transcend mere performance; they’re a celebration, a communion, a party where the audience’s energy is met and amplified, and the Shé truly emerges. We’re incredibly lucky to experience this at Congés Annulés!

The Night FM, an electronic music project by Yliana Paolini, defines its sound as “Dark Art Electronica” — a compelling fusion of house, techno, and dark pop. As a musician, producer, and guitarist, Yliana sculpts pulsating beats, haunting synth melodies, and atmospheric textures into an emotionally charged sonic experience. Her music uniquely blends intricate electronic production with raw, live elements, incorporating guitars and hybrid drum arrangements for dynamic, immersive performances.
Versatile by nature, The Night FM frequently invites guest musicians, like drummers and singers, to infuse live shows with new energy. Whether in the studio or on stage, Yliana’s sound constantly evolves, merging introspection with high-energy rhythms to captivate audiences.
