A soulful voice of the saxophone, Adriano Pancaldi graduated from the prestigious “B. Maderna” Conservatory in Cesena, where he first honed his classical technique before immersing himself in the world of jazz.

In 1994, Adriano Pancaldi was selected for the elite “Advanced Professional Qualification Course for Jazz and Contemporary Instrumentalists” in Siena. That same year, he performed with Bologna’s “O.F.P.” Orchestra, under the batons of giants like George Russell, Kenny Wheeler, Mike Gibbs, and Bruno Tommaso — appearing in major jazz festivals across Italy.

His musical collaborations read like a map of Italy’s vibrant jazz scene, having performed with Fabrizio Puglisi, Giancarlo Bianchetti, Achille Succi, Massimo Greco, Ivan Valentini, Davide Brillante, Alessandro Altarocca, Paolo Ghetti, Daniele Giardina, Nico Menci, Teo Ciavarella, Guido Guidoboni, Lele Barbieri, Lele Veronesi, Lucio Ferrara, Giampiero Burza, Stefano De Bonis, among many others.

Since 2003, [Name] has expanded his musical horizons as the director of the Cuban orchestra “America y su Tumbanchà,” led by Cuban vocalist America Quesada — bringing the vibrant rhythms of Latin music to audiences across Italy.

Today, Adriano Pancaldi continues to explore, create, and inspire — weaving stories through sound and sharing his passion with every note he plays.
