Art Exhibit: Harmony and Discord

This thought-provoking exhibit by local artist Bridie Wolejko explores the intersection of our planet's verdant splendor and humankind’s intention of destroying it in the name of progress.

Works include organic material sculpture and expressive landscape paintings utilizing fervent brush work, heavy paint application, and high contrast color emphasizing the way organic matter moves and interacts with its environment.

Bridie was the first-place recipient of the Fitchburg Art Museum’s 83rd Regional Exhibit of Art and Craft and has exhibited her artwork in many galleries and museums locally, nationally, and internationally.
