Basic lessons in observational and performative drawing, following the Proposition and Contradiction-method. Lesson 1-2 (of 6) is thematically focused on the human body: ourselves, each other, the citizens and tourists of Lund etc. We will explore those bodily themes through gestural, anti-gestural, form, anti-form, blind drawing, anti-blind and Heta-Uma variations.
Bring charcoal, crayons and a wooden board (min A3), a portable stool and a big drawing pad.
The lessons are supervised by Samuel Nyholm, illustrator, fine artist and professor in illustration at the Art University in Bremen. Co-supervised by Adam Nilsson, transdisciplinary coordinator of NDS. We will meet outside Café Lux in Lund.
