Museum visit: Swedish National Day at Kulturen i Lund

🎉 Join us on Friday, June 6, for a festive celebration of Swedish National Day at Kulturen i Lund! 🇸🇪

Kulturen i Lund is a one-of-a-kind open-air and cultural history museum nestled in the heart of the city. As the second oldest open-air museum in Sweden, it offers a charming blend of historic buildings, peaceful gardens, and engaging exhibitions.

To mark the occasion, the museum is offering FREE admission, making it the perfect opportunity to explore its beautiful grounds and step back in time through centuries of Swedish heritage.
The day’s festivities include a flag-raising ceremony, a festive speech, and a moving performance by Bella Voce, Lund’s student choir. Later in the afternoon, we’ll be treated to a lively swing jazz concert by Mimi Terris Septet!

You are welcome to bring food and drinks for a picnic while enjoying the museum’s park's relaxed atmosphere.

📣 IMPORTANT: This event is only for Social Hub/Interkultur Lund members. However, if you are attending your first Social Hub/Interkultur i Lund activity, you are welcome to try it for free! 1. We have planned a schedule for the event, so COME ON TIME! Respect the schedule at all times and the team leader's instructions, and do not leave the group without informing her/him.
2. You are responsible for buying your own Skånetrafiken transportation tickets. Note: Skånetrafiken group tickets (from 2 people) are cheaper, so you can ask another participant to buy a ticket with you when you meet.
3. Bring your own food and drinks.
4. Social Hub Lund and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any injury that can/may occur during the above-specified date and time. Attendees are responsible for their own safety as well as their private belongings. You are solely responsible for your partition and discretion.
5. Children should only come if accompanied by their parents.
6. Bringing pets is not allowed.
7. Check the weather in advance, and always bring a raincoat/extra warm layers. Bring sunscreen if you think it is necessary.
8. Be polite and respectful to the other participants and the environment.
