Rally for Rachel

Please join us on June 29th at Dadz Bar and Grill for an afternoon of good food, music, and fellowship as we RALLY together to for TEAM RACHEL’S STRONG!!

Our dear Rachel has been living bravely with metastatic breast cancer for years now. Originally diagnosed as a young mother in her twenties, Rachel has faced much adversity over the years as the cancer has aggressively spread to her brain and spinal cord, pressing on optic nerves. Chemo. Radiation. Double mastectomy. Harsh medicines, terrible side effects. Weight gain. Hair loss. Vision problems. Hospital stays. Brain surgery. Game knife radiation. More chemo. Pills. Monthly infusions. Routine scans and follow ups. SO MUCH.

Unfortunately this past March, Rachel and her family were also involved in a terrible motor vehicle accident that required helicopter transport to Cooper Trauma Center. Their injuries were many, necessitated emergency surgeries, and upon release from the hospital- constant home care. At the current time Rachel is bed bound as she heals from numerous broken bones in her feet, hip, hand, ribs, sternum and spine. She is still scheduled for regular chemo treatments, as there is an obvious need to keep the cancer at bay. They are currently without a family vehicle and have zero income. This fundraiser will greatly help Rachel and her family as they continue to heal and recover from this life changing event!
