SongsByWeen is North Jersey's premier Ween tribute band, delivering a dedicated exploration of the pioneering duo's sprawling musical universe. The band (Jay Cowit, Mike Bruno, Dan Fast, and Michael Ogushwitz) transcends simple cover versions, instead capturing the audacious spirit and genre-bending essence that makes Ween iconic. From the psychedelic landscapes of Chocolate and Cheese to the dense prog-rock of The Mollusk to the deep-fried licks of 12 Golden Country Greats -- plus the raw punk energy found in deeper cuts -- SongsByWeen meticulously reconstructs the duo's sonic palette while unearthing hidden gems alongside beloved classics.
Their live performances embrace improvisation and dynamic energy, allowing the music to breathe and evolve in the moment. Whether serving longtime devotees seeking that live Ween experience or introducing newcomers to the scene, SongsByWeen delivers a thrilling sonic adventure that remains faithful, surprising, and undeniably brown. All hail Boognish!

The Old Cities: From music-making on the banks of the Mediterranean to the foothills of the Appalachians, Gary & Li Bonanni and Ami Yares have been making music in various incarnations for nearly 15 years. The trio met when Gary and Li played at the Jacob's Ladder Folk Festival and they have been fast friends and key collaborators in their individual and collective musical projects. Their draws from their prior bands: Just Married, HOLLER!, the Brothers Yares and more. Expect their original songs and choice covers to be tube-worn and warmed with perfectly dovetailing harmonies. Gary, Li & Ami will be joined by Jamie Alegre on drums.
More supporting acts to be announced. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
A portion of the event's earnings will go to support BuilaBridge, a Philadelphia-based arts and education organization that leverages the power of art-making to support healing and hope-raising for trauma-affected youth and their communities. www.buildabridge.org
