North GA Science Club October Session (K-8th Grade)

Sign up now to reserve a spot at our October session. This is a great time for homeschoolers in the area to meet each other, enjoy a short science lesson, try out experiments, complete a fun craft, and enjoy a snack before heading out on a family hike.

We had a great time in September at Don Carter so we will meet again at the same location for another outdoor session while the weather is great.

Allergy allergy: We will be performing a science lab with shaving cream and food coloring. Then the snack will include graham crackers, marshmallows, icing, and sour candy belts.

Our time under the pavilion will last around 45 minutes, then we will join together with our families for a hike on the Don Carter Woodland Trail. We will begin at the fish camp area walking on a paved trail but it does have some ups and down running around 1.2 miles total out and back. In the middle of the hike is a beautiful oak tree by the creek we will stop at to allow the kiddos to play.
