No Kings Day Cookie Protest Cookie Class

"No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and that the power belongs to the people."

In coordination with the nationwide events this No Kings gathering features creativity and gifting! Ice cookies and discuss actionable items to help with today's current events. Package your cookies the next day and gift them to someone who might need one! Let's lean into our power to make the world a sweeter place!

The cookies we will decorate in this class are:

1 American Flag Crown

1 United States of Love

1 Blank Poster (pre iced flat white so can be written on)

1 Blank Quote Bubble (pre iced flat white so can be written on)

1 Lightning Bolt

As in all of our cookie workshops Dani provides a step by step "how to ice" demonstration of each cookie then each participant decorates their own version. Icing decorating candy and all supplies included. Participants take home a box of cookies they decorated. Cookie packaging for gifting your cookies can be purchased after class.

All supplies included. Kids ages 10 and up. BYO welcome. Registration for this event will close Wednesday March 15th. This class will be approx. 1.5 to 2 hours long.

COOKIE WORKSHOP FAQ:

Ticketholders at Tables Only: Due to room capacity constraints in our space we are only able to accommodate cookie icers at our tables. If you would like to be seated with other cookie icers who are registered under another name please let us know in advance (the week before) as we pre-assign seating for each workshop and can not accommodate last minute seat changes. Drop off welcome for kids in certain classes: age requirement 8 and up.

Covid Policy: We are a small studio with communal tables. Please do not come to our studio if you are not feeling well.

Timing: Please arrive promptly or 5 minutes before class. Due to our limited capacity we can not accommodate any earlier arrivals. We do have a bench outside for waiting. The workshop will last for an hour and a half to two hours depending on class speed of icing each cookie.

Coffee and Snacks: No outside food allowed but we are BYO beverages. You may pre purchase snacks to enjoy during class from our add on menu. There are also many fun places nearby to grab a cocktail or meet up for lunch before or for dinner afterward. Ask us for recommendations.

Cookie Allergy Disclaimer: Sweet Dani B cookies are preservative free and are baked with the freshest ingredients... butter eggs sugar flour and a few secret ingredients that make them extra yummy. Our recipe does not include nuts but our cookies and icing is made in a kitchen where nuts are present. In the workshop we will be using various candies to decorate our cookies some of which originate in facilities that process nuts. Our royal icing is made with sugar and meringue powder.

Photo Release: We take lots of photos in our workshops and in this one we will take a group protest photo after. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.

Parking: Parking in Asbury Park is pay at the meter parking. You can also download the ASBURY PARK app.

Dining In the Area: If you are attending this cookie workshop and would like to grab a bite do not miss the deliciousness of the restaurants in Asbury Park! There are many restaurants in walking distance to our shop and others that are just a 5 minute drive away. Email us for recommendations.

Refunds: Due to limited seating and the individual prep work required for each cookie icer in attendance our cookie workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. (We suggest via post on instagram that we can re-share for you) We can also decorate your set of cookies for you to pick up at a later date.
