💚 Unplug Texas Day – Chambers Park 💚
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, join us as we celebrate the very first Unplug Texas Day, a new statewide observance created through Senate Bill 2232 and led by the Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS). The goal is simple: step away from screens, get outside, and rediscover the value of real-world connection through our parks and recreation spaces.
📅 Schedule of Events at Chambers Park:
8:15 AM – Group Fitness in the Park
9:00 AM – Pickleball Tournament
12:00 PM – Picnic Lunch (bring your own lunch)
5:00 PM-7:00pm – Outdoor Family Play
6:00 PM – Zumba Class & Evening Pickleball Tournament
✨ This is an open call to everyone in Texas to explore and enjoy all outdoor spaces — trails, playgrounds, open fields, courts, and recreation centers. Wherever you are, unplug and play! 🌿 #UnplugTexas
