Join us on this 6 mile Full Moon hike, starting and finishing near Ludlow Castle.
The September full moon in 2025, also known as the Harvest Moon, will occur on September 7th at 19.07, according to the Royal Museums Greenwich Calender. It's called the Harvest Moon because it's the closest full moon to the autumnal equinox and traditionally provided light for farmers to harvest their crops.

Highlights include -
Ludlow Castle a Norman fortress dating from the late 11th century.
Historic Ludlow Town Centre with many half-timbered Tudor houses and Georgian façades.
Whitcliffe Common, with a great viewing point overlooking the castle and River Teme.
Dinham Bridge, which is a photogenic stone bridge perfect for castle backdrops.
Mortimer Forest.
Hopefully all under a lovely sunset and big clear full moon.
Bring snacks and water to sustain you. Bring layers, temperature will drop in the evening.
Please don't forget your headtorch the last part of the walk will be in the dark.
