Guided walk - Summer Evening Birdsong in Mortimer Forest

June is a wonderful time to be in the forest to look and listen for native and migratory birds. Dave Pearce will be leading a small group in the early evening to hear the Summer Dusk Chorus at 6:30pm.

The walk will depart from the Hanbury Common, Mortimer Forest (a circular loop). Cars should be parked on the grass verges of Hanbury Common near the entrance to the Common (What3Words: ///answers.shuttled.reworked), avoiding obstructing any driveways or the road running through it.

The route is suitable for good walkers, the terrain is mixed woodland and can be steep in parts.

RSVP by email is required, limited capacity event. For this walk you will need good boots, and we suggest a waterproof, optional snacks/water and camera/binocular.
