Worship on August 27: Introducing Jesus

Join us in worshiping the Lord on August 17, 2025 at 10:00 am. Pastor Brett Spalding's topic is "Introducing Jesus," with scriptures that include Deuteronomy 18:14-20, John 1:29-34, and John 1:35-42.

Synopsis: John seeks to introduce us to Jesus in chapter one of his gospel. He begins by telling us that Jesus existed before the earth existed and He is one with God. John then tells us that Jesus left heaven and came to earth in the flesh.

Next, John the Baptist and Andrew reveal four titles that identify Jesus, and help us to understand who He is, Lamb of God, Son of God, Rabbi, and Messiah.
