The Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative Book Bus returns to Sandcastles Children's Museum on July 22nd from 9:30am-12:00pm!
Join us for a jam-packed day of Great Start Collaborative Fun first with STEM Adventures with MSU Extension 4-H at 9:30am, followed by Music and Learn with Ms. Barbara! The Book Bus will be available to visit between 9:30am and 12:00pm
About STEM Adventure with MSU Extension 4-H:
STEM ADVENTURES is a FREE program in partnership with MSU Extension and Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative. The program intertwines STEM and literacy to spark curiosity, Creativity, critical thinking, an innovation. Such explorations help to prepare children to navigate an increasingly complex world with confidence and proficiency.
The program is tailored to children ages 4 to 9, but children outside this age range are welcome.
Dates: Every Tuesday between June 24th and August 12th
Times: 9:30am-10:30am
Location: Sandcastles Downstairs Party Room

About Music and Learn with Ms. Barbara:
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy.
It helps the body and mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
For participating in the playgroup, all families will receive a book, Talking is Teaching materials, and ideas for talking, reading & singing with your little ones at home!
For participation to Play & Learn or Music & Learn and for free access to the museum, let the person at the front desk know that you are here with the Great Start Collaborative!
