TUESDAY: Diving into Improv Games
We'll jump right into the exciting world of improv with a collection of hilarious games designed to spark your imagination and build essential skills. Get ready to laugh as we explore:
Restaurant: Creating a bustling and unpredictable dining experience with quick character changes and unexpected scenarios.
Mirror: Sharpening focus and non-verbal communication by perfectly mirroring a partner's movements.
Pass the Face: Letting your facial expressions tell a story as you transform and pass emotions from one player to the next.
Walk the Space: Exploring physicality and character through movement and interaction within a defined environment.
WEDNESDAY: From Ideas to the Stage - Group Playwriting
We'll channel our collective creativity into crafting an original short play together! Through fun brainstorming sessions and guided exercises, campers will contribute ideas, characters, and plot twists. This collaborative process will highlight:
Idea Generation: Learning techniques to spark imaginative concepts.
Collaborative Storytelling: Working together to weave individual ideas into a cohesive narrative.
Scene Structure: Understanding the basic building blocks of a play.
Character Development: Expanding on the characters we create to make them dynamic and engaging.
THURSDAY: Lights, Camera, Action! - Final Performance
The excitement builds as we prepare for our final performance! We'll spend the morning rehearsing our collaboratively written play, putting the finishing touches on our characters and scenes. Then, at 11:30 a.m., campers will have the opportunity to shine as they present their hilarious and original creation to family and friends. This day is all about:

Stage Presence: Developing confidence and engaging the audience.
Teamwork: Supporting each other to create a successful and fun performance.
