Walk 172 - Mytholmroyd to Marsden

Saturday 30th August 12pm - Mytholmroyd to Marsden - 12 miles.

This will be a challenging walk but will be hugely enjoyable given the route.

We’ll be walking over the tops from Mytholmroyd towards Crow Hill, onward to Scammonden and Marsden Moor and down into Marsden.

Please note that this will be a tough one but if you fancy a challenge, please do join us. The route is complex and there are 2 big hills with a total assent of 2500 feet.

Please come prepared with the right clothing, food, water and provisions.

Once in Marsden, we will have refreshments and then get taxis back to Mytholmroyd which will cost around £8-10 each. (Trains are available but will take a bit longer) Please also note that if you bring a dog, some taxi drivers may not take you so please bear this in mind. You may have to get the train if taxis will not carry your dog.
