Have you ever felt a serpent stirring in your hips, but not yet known how to charm her?
🐍🐍🐍
Fusion belly dance blends traditional Middle Eastern belly dance with contemporary styles including hip-hop, pop 'n' lock and isolation techniques; resulting in serpentine like movements that are both fluid and sharp but, ultimately, mesmerising!
Join me as we remember the ancient through a modern lens. Together we'll move our hips rhythmically to tribal beats and awaken trance like states of flow, all through the divine vessel of our bodies.

Heather was first mesmerised by a Tribal Belly Dance performance at a festival around seven years ago; it mirrored the way her own body longed to move, though she hadn’t yet found the form to express it. Discovering this craft felt like coming home to an ancient remembrance.
Although it took significant practice and devotion to bring the movements into form, she found deep pleasure in repeating the basics again and again. Over time, the discipline became not only a safe haven for expression, but a surprisingly beautiful way to transmute emotional energy into devotional offering. A truly alchemical practice and one of the reasons she is so passionate about sharing it.
Since then, Heather has trained with leading teachers around the world, including Bindu Bolar and Colleena Shakti in India, as well as the Godmother of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance herself, Rachel Brice. She has also received certification in Imaya Sabine’s Serpentine Studies, deepening her understanding of the alchemical and embodied aspects of this art form.
