Join us for a creative and inspiring weekly art class designed especially for elementary-aged students! Each week, we’ll explore new techniques, artists, and materials, helping young artists gain confidence, imagination, and skill.
Every class begins with a fun sketchbook prompt to warm up our creativity, then we dive into a guided project inspired by the monthly theme and a featured artist.

October – Observation & Still Life (Paul Cézanne)
November – Color & Expression (Henri Matisse)
December – Texture & Pattern (Faith Ringgold)
January – Imagination & Abstraction (Wassily Kandinsky)
February – People & Portraits (Frida Kahlo)
March – Animals in Art (Rosa Bonheur)
April – Landscapes & Environments (Claude Monet)
May – Growth & Botanical Studies (Georgia O’Keeffe)

Class Dates:
Classes run October 7, 2025 – May 26, 2026
We’ll take breaks on the following dates:
- Thanksgiving Week (Nov 25)
- Winter Break (Dec 23 & 30)
- Spring Break (Mar 17)
All supplies are included, and projects can stay at the studio to dry. Students will each receive their own sketchbook for the year.
