Although the 2025 Rumbleweed Showdown has been canceled, West Texas Roller Derby is keeping the derby spirit rolling by hosting a free skater clinic at our home practice rink, SK806 Events Center.
We’re thrilled to welcome Merry Khaos, a 16-year veteran of all things roller derby, player, coach, announcer, NSO, and ref. Through Khaos Theory Coaching, she’s been providing the derby community with tutorials, training, and insights for over a decade, helping skaters of all levels develop strength, confidence, and strategy.
Khaos's coaching focuses on applying footwork, mobility, and body mechanics into the chess game of derby strategy — teaching you to stop thinking about your feet so you can think about everything else happening on the track.
Join us for an empowering morning of learning, movement, and community as we continue to build and grow roller derby in West Texas.
