Campmaster Program Training

oin us for the 2025 Campmaster Training is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th at 2:00 PM. The training will take place in the Barnhart Training Center at Camp Raven Knob.

The Campmaster Program is a volunteer base that oversees and cares for the camp during weekend operations. Campmasters are expected to be a role model for the Old Hickory Council and be a welcoming body for the visitors each weekend. Primary roles include: checking-in and checking-out troops, talking to drop-in visitors, taking and cleaning any trash left behind by units, unlock & lock facilities that are needed, and more.

Attendance is required in order to serve as a Campmaster for the 2025–2026 season. The session will follow a similar format to previous years, with a few new updates and policy changes to review. We expect the training to last about an hour and a half.
