Dawn Chambers Talk

Digitization in recent years has improved access to land ownership records held by Archives New Zealand and Land Information New Zealand. Across the two institutions the history of a single parcel of land can be traced from current ownership right back to the beginning. Methods and examples, with a focus on the Wellington region, will be used to illustrate how to find documents from various time periods.

Dawn Chambers is a volunteer researcher whose passion is to learn about 19th century New Zealand manuscripts wherever they may be found and to share that knowledge with others via Pandora Research.
