Lowell Celebrates Kerouac! presents Rocking Horse Music Club performing their new album, The Last Pink Glow: An Interpretation of Jack Kerouac’s The Haunted Life.
Rocking Horse Music Club is an award-winning songwriting, recording, and performing collective based out of Rocking Horse Studio in New Hampshire. The band consists of Justin Cohn (vocals/act gtr), Brian Coombes (keys/vocals), Harrison Foti (drums), Brenden Harisiades (bass), Myron Kibbee (gtr), Mike McAdam (gtr), and Andrew Rotunno (gtr/vocals).
The Last Pink Glow is the band’s follow-up to its expansive rock opera, Circus of Wire Dolls, which Prog Radio named its Album of the Year in 2022. The Last Pink Glow continues Rocking Horse Music Club’s penchant for eclectic, genre-defying albums, blending progressive rock with elements of americana, blues, chamber and synth pop, and orchestral music. The band worked directly with Jim Sampas, the Literary Executor of the Jack Kerouac Estate, on this project, often using Kerouac's words from The Haunted Life as lyrics. Genesis legend Tony Banks co-wrote and appears on the song The Haunted Life.
The band is delighted to be performing The Last Pink Glow in Jack Kerouac’s hometown as part of the 2025 Lowell Celebrates Kerouac Fall Festival.
Special guests: Eddy Dyer and Bobbo Byrnes will open the show. Doors at 7pm, music begins at 8pm.
