Lowell Labor Day Parade info!!
Join us for a fun-filled Labor Day Parade in Lowell! Here are the details:
Float build. Saturday Rick Skinner’s House Lowell 10:00 AM, Message Don @ 219-712-1472 for address
Parade Day: Monday Our line up point is Lowell highschool front parking lot. THIS IS A DIFFERENT SPOT THAN LAST YEAR OR ANY PREVIOUS YEAR!! Ride the float or use the shuttle from Oak Hill Elementary, 425 S Nichols St, Lowell, IN 46356
We’ll be loading up the float and leaving the elementary school as soon as we can. this is the better option. The shuttle service is fairly new and they probably do not have the bugs worked out of that yet. Last year Donny and I walked to the parade start from the elementary school. But a shuttle service is available from 7 am- 9:45 am. There will be long lines for the shuttle. !! At the end of the parade we will dismantle the float at the lower lot of Oak Hill elementary school. Please stay to help with getting it taken down as it helps everyone involved get to enjoy the rest of their holiday. It's usually disassembled in a half hour or so.
� Shuttle Service: If you’re running late, there will be a shuttle from the school to the parade float starting point. You can also meet us directly at Lowell high schools front parking lot. Shuttle runs from 7am - 9:45 am.
Please let Don know ahead of time so he can get a head count.
