Modified Golden Age:
- Character’s point values are halved, then rounded to the nearest 5 if they were released before Superior Foes of Spider-Man (2016-2002).
- All characters on your force must share a printed keyword

Restrictions:
- Characters on your starting force must each be less than 100 points.
- Character’s starting lines cost cannot be above the bosses at any time (on or off the map).

The Boss:
- One character on your force must be 100 points or more. This character is your team’s “boss”.
- The boss does not get action tokens, and can use leadership and mastermind.
- If your boss is KO’d you lose the game. Your boss may still be assigned equipment even if they are not a standard character.
